Dimout CS – Blackout Fire-Retardant Fabric

Dimout CS is a light-dimming fabric made from 100% polyester, specially developed for applications where controlled blackout is required. The fabric effectively blocks out incident light and combines this with a supple drape and a calm, even appearance on both sides.

The fabric is permanently flame-retardant (IFR — Inherently Flame Retardant), meaning that the flame-retardant property is embedded in the fibres and does not wash out. This makes Dimout CS suitable for use in public spaces, theatres, hotels and events where fire safety is a legal requirement. Dimout CS is widely used as a blackout curtain in hotel rooms, as a light screen on film sets and in photography studios, as a partition screen at events, and as a backdrop in theatres where light leakage needs to be prevented.
